Woke up about 8am and went back to the temple & bid farewell to Lung Po Nian. Spent the whole day in the van again, tavelling back to Bangkok. Stupid jam causes us to delay our time making us reach Bangkok @ 9pm. So we checked into a hotel near Ah Yong's house so that it will be easier for him to pick us up tomorrow.

Finally the tv is showing English speaking movie. Haha. Thought of drinking beer but decided not to. Time to cut down on my drinking. That's my resolution for year 2010.

2 Stars Toilet.

Whole of last night was spend on the van, sleeping than waking to toilet. The ride up the hill was 10hrs, we prepare fruits to eat on the way but nobody is interested to take even a bite. Haha. Throughout the only thing that kept Dar & i awake was the auntie's leg aka "Tian Chang Jiao". She kicked my hand & poor Dar Dar's head. Irritating lo. Feel like f*** her lo but see she so poor thing so haiz, forget it.

I realize that the sun of Bangkok rises earlier, by 6am the sky is so bright. Ah Yong stopped @ a road side stall & bought breakfast for us. Fried You Tiao + Hot Coffee. Yummy. As we were happily munching on our breakfase, we notice a monk walking towards us. Steven than took off his shoe kneeled @ the road & donated some food to the monk.

It's said that rain or shine, monks @ Thailand started their walk from early 5am for food donations everyday. It's a respect to the monks to take off the shoe & kneel down before putting food in their bowl. Interesting...

After breakfast we continued with our journey & was about to fall asleep than Ah Yong shouted "Reached!!!!"

Woo Hoo, finally. Ermm the Shrine of Lung Po Nian, wasn't what i expected. Quite run down or should i say it's not completed? Haha...Steven told us that the $$$ we donated are all given to the temple for rebuilding.

We had a quick walk around the Shrine before heading to a small room to rest awhile. Shit, full of mosquito flying around waiting to sting me. How to sleep? Whole body feel so sticky & dirty some more lo, but i guess that i am juz too sleepy to worried about all this. Covered myself with blanket from head to toe, than fall into a deep sleep.

Waking up feeling worse, my whole body smells lor. I wanna bathe... But the min i thought the bathing tub. EEKS.... Full of dead insects & it's yellow in colour lor. How? Clever me than thought of the smartest way, use the tap. Yes! Happily Dar & i make our way to the toilets, took off our clothes (Hey we are using seperate cubicle la, temple leh), turned on the tap. To our disappointment, NO WATER!!!! OMG... So no choice, we had to bathe with the yellow, dirty & cold water... Shit... :@

After dinner, we checked in to our 2stars chalet. The tv was all showing Thai movies again... Sian... There is no entertainment around there too. Boring... In the end, we went to bed early... Nights

Woke up @ 4.30am today, super tired but no choice as we need to check in at 6am for our plane to Bangkok today. Hmmm it's our 1st time travelling together with Master Steven & his 2 others members not sure if we are able to click or not. Haha.

We arrived Bangkok @ about 10am waiting for Ah Yong who is Steven's friend, the 1 who is going to drive us around & be our translator for these 5days. He is very nice, friendly & funny. Most importantly he speaks very fluent mandarin.

Ah Yong drove us to ChinaTown for our lunch, Goose Meat... Never try before but i feel that it just taste like duck meat. Haha. After lunch Ah Yong drove us to a shop which sells all kinds of things related to praying as we need to buy offering items for the monks and donate to them. The shop is full of Buddha Statue, Small, Medium, Big, you name it they have it. And all are hand crafted by the crafts man employed by the shop. Amazing. You will never find this kind of shop in Singapore.

After buying what we need, we went to Ah Yong's wife beauty saloon than i know that he have 3 wives & 4 kids. His youngest wife is only 20+ years old and he is about 50+, Lao Hero, Hahahahaha. The best part all his wives stayed under the same roof without any problem. Zai Shi Wei Xiao Bao.

Than we went to his bungalow house as he last min told us that we need to wait for another couple to reach before we set off. So in the end he left us at his house without fearing us tearing down his house to fetch the couple. We tried watching TV but all the stations were showing Thai movies so we tried searching for VCD to watch. Hmmm Jacky Chan seems not bad, all of us laugh like mad when we hear Jacky speaking Thai. Faint. No subtitles also. Arghhh.... So in the end 4 stupid idiots sitting on the sofa watching shows that we cannot understand at all. Haha.

Finally Ah Yong is back with the couple, they are about 50+ yrs old from Melacaa. Few years back they used to be quite well to do untill the wife was controlled by black magic. The husband spent alot of $$$ searching for monks/master to help to lift off the spells but black hearted people never helped instead they cast another spell on her making her gave them $$$ willing. Finally people introduced them to Ah Yong who brought them to visit several high monks than the spell was broken. By than their savings were all used up. This time the husband suspected that the spells were not completly lifted as his wife behaviour changes back after 2yrs of recovering. Hmmmm, hope that she will be ok.

Ah Yong's daughter "Film" is very cute, although i cannot understand what she says but just by listening her voice melts my heart, so sweet. And i think she likes me too, kept followering me everywhere. Haha. Finally it's time to set off for our 10hrs bus ride and "Film" insisted to sit with me till she fall asleep than i pass her back to her mother.

Leaving for Bangkok tomorrow, can't fall sleep. Worried that i cannot endure the 10hrs of bus ride. Haiz... How am i going to kill the time? 10hrs up the hill & 10hrs down again. OMG. The min i think of it I'll start to regret agreeing to go. Lols but it's just too late now...

Was lazing at home until i recieved a call from Auntie Agnes asking me to go down showroom. Brought Jayden together with me, see he so poor thing always stay @ home. But i did not tell Dar Dar that i was going down with Jayden.

So when i reached, he was so shocked. Not because he saw me, it's because he saw Jayden. Slap. So pian xin. Want son don't want mummy. Haha. James wanted to bring Jayden out & buy chocolate for him, at 1st Jayden says ok but the min he helps Jayden to wear shoes, jayden cried. Wanting me to go together, no matter how we tried to convince him that going alone with James will be alright he still refused & cling to me. So in the end Dar & i had to go together with James & Jayden just because of the chocolates. Lols "_"

So happy Dar Dar signed 3 contracts today but poor Jayden waited for his Daddy till he fall asleep. Well i don't think he mind as i believed he had a great time today with James, Andy, Alicia & Agnes.

Went to Jurong Point Everlast for our couple jacket & mask to bring along for our Bangkok trip. Than went to Swensen's for our dinner. After dinner Dar sent me home and than he went for his badminton. I waited for Jayden to sleep before going downstairs and buy 2 cans of beer & drink at the void deck. Haha. I always like to drink alone downstairs, to enjoy the quietness & fresh air. The feeling is so good & peaceful.

Went to Jurong Point for some clothing today. Wanted to get some sleeveless tee to bring along for my Bangkok trip. Than i pass by John Little, 20% store wide. Oh how can i miss such a offer, haha. Get 2sets of lingerie, nude bra & 2 panties which is suppose to help my tummy looks flatter.

Than i went to nett cotton, the tank top is just super cheap, about $10 per piece. There is 1 thing i must mention, a sales assistant there is really helpful. She was running around the whole shop, in & out of the storeroom, calling to every outlet just to help me to check if there is new piece for the clothing that i choose. And most importantly, her smile never leave her. 5 thumps up for her excellent service...

Than Eric came & pick me up. We went to "ta bao" Crab Noodle, Poh Pia, BBQ Fish, Sambal LaLa, Gong Gong & Kang Kong with cuttle fish for dinner than went to Dar's show room. Tks Agnes auntie for the dinner...

1st July 2009

1st day of the month, new beginning... Counting down for my 1st day of work. . .
Am excited yet worried. Happy yet sad. Looking forward yet hoping time flies slow. Excited because it's my 1st time working as a timepiece sales associate but worried that i can't cope with it. Happy that i finally found a job but sad that my tai tai life ended, no more late nights & waking up @ 1pm. Looking forward to a new challenge but hoping that time flies slowly so that i can sleep longer. Haha. Contradicting aren't i? Hmmm...
Anyway i was suppose to meet Sotong baby for our eyebrow embroiderytoday @ Bishan #1 saloon. Alot of people went there to do and everybody had to queue for 6mths before we can have our eyebrow done. But last min Sotong baby said she is worried & scare as she never did embroidery before so i told her than don't go. I'll go 1st if she sees that mine is ok than she go & do. Cause i don't want her to do & than regret.
At 1st i thought of taking a cab go but the min i thought of the Jam at CTE, Surcharge of the cab & stupid ERP i decided to take MRT. Save time, Save $$$. Haha typical house wife lo. Clock is ticking and i am running late, started to regret that i took MRT as i didn't even know where that place is. What if they says that i m late for my appointment than don't let me do? SHIT!!!!
When i reached the saloon, so many people was waiting there, no wonder they didn't even call to check if i am reaching or not when i was late for 15mins. Despite being late, i still have to wait for 45mins for my turn. My heart race when i lay on the bed, i am so scare that when she starts to use the needle & poke me i will scream so loudly that all the customer will be scared away by me. Haha...
Well i didn't shout. It was painful but bearable, it makes me wonder why women are so "fan jian", paying people to torture us. Haha... A young girl beside me kept asking me"Jie Jie, is it painful?" and i feel like answering her:"YES YES YES!!!" Hahahahahaha but i can't if not the lady boss will sure kick my ass. So i comfort her:"No la, it's not. Don't worry"
Hmmm, overall i am quite satisfied with my new eyebrow but i must really says that the waiting time is too long. 45mins for the wait & the job is done within 15mins. Hope that when i go back for my touch up no need to wait for so long again....
While waiting for Dar Dar to pick me up, a lady approached me and ask me for donation. Although i know that most of these company are fake but i simply cannot reject her. I always tell myself, i did my part to help those in needs but if these company is really taking our advantage than it's their fault. Hmm i'm just a kind hearted girl, haha...

Had my gel extension today, i feel that my manicurist's standard has drop. But i'm still stuck with 7pedi & 8 mani so i decided to ask Dar along the next time, faster use finish than find better 1...

While waiting for Dar to fetch me, i went to Watsons for a walk. Than something caught my eye, Majolica Majorca, sub brand of Shiseido. Hmmm... never use before so decided to give it a try. Dar always say, i can use cheap shampoo, eat cheap food but my facial products & make up all very expensive. So i am going to prove him wrong. Cheap brand from watson i also can use. Haha

Went to Vivo Sakae for our dinner, the food i order doesn't taste nice but i still force myself to finish it. Yucks. After dinner we went to Toy R Us and bought toys for the kids again. Dar always buy toy for them until the kid's play room is already full of toys. Haha.

I did a good deed today but it's suppose to be a secret so i can't tel anybody. But i feel extremely happy. Just hope that everything will turns out fine...
