18th June 09 (Part 1) Interview, Dar's Present, My Shopping Day

Dar Dar actually wanted to send me to my interview today, but i told him to sleep longer cause i see that he is very tired. So i took a cab down myself. The interview was a post for Cosmetic Sales Supervisor for TR at Changi Airport. Though it's abit far but i don't mind as i thought that they will be providing transport or transport allowance. My interview appointment was at 10.30am and i reached 15mins earlier. The receptionist told me that her GM will only be here at 11am. TMD since that's the case you should make the appointment with me at 11am ma. You think you are GM than you can be late? Why can't people be punctual? Made me wait for 45mins, stupid lor.

After she explain to me about the job scope, she asked if i have any question.

Me: Ermm the only concern for me is if there is any transport allowance as i am staying quite far and the pm shift ends at 11pm than i need to do closing & paperwork by the time i m done i don't think there is public transport for me to take also.

GM: O, you no need to do any closing nor paperwork and the public transport ends at 12am.

Me: So there is no transport allowance la, than i don't think i will want to travel so far as by the time i reached home it will be 2am and what if i works am shift the next day? If i don't have enough sleep i will not be able to perform well also.

And so in the end i rejected the job... Wasted my time, but at least i know that i've tried. After interview, i walked to Takashimaya Mount Blanc for Dar's Bday present. Initially wanted to get Money Clip but none of it caught my eye. Key Chain? I bought 1 for him before. In the end i bought a pen for him.

Than i went to Jurong Point, wanted to buy a bday cake for him to cut at showroom but Dar think that its abit werid so i never buy. Instead, i bought myself 2 dress, 1 cardigan & a pair of shoes. Went home bathe & change than again to Dar showroom.Waited for him to finish doing his thing than to our dinner.

17th June 2009 (Planning For Dar's Bday)

Went to Master Cai's office to get our blessed calligraphy pen & golden pouch. Finally complete our renovation works for the house. Ever since my mother in law fall sick, we have been thinking if the Feng Shui of our house is not good so we engage another Feng Shui master to see our house again hopfully everything will goes smoothly for the family. I hoped...
After that to Dar's showroom again. My job today is to plan for Dar's bday celebation tomorrow. Hmmm which place is good leh? The Cliff @ Sentosa? Indochine Forbbiden City @ Clark Quay? DanGary @ Tanglin Mall? Equinox @ SwissOTel? My Humble House @ Esplanade? All sounds nice to me but which 1 Dar likes more as he is quite choosy over food... Headache!!! Actually wanted to give him a surprise but decide to ask him instead. If not wait he don't like the food than it will be meaningless to bring him there too. In the end, he choose Forbbiden City, which i wanted to bring him there way back...
Dar Dar knock off we went to Tanjong Pagar Food Market with Eric for our dinner. Love the "stupid stupid" = "Gong Gong" after that went home to help Dar Dar with his quotation till 2am. Haiz still got to wake up early for interview tomorrow... Tired Tired...

16th June 2009 (The Art Of Marriage)

Wow, it's already 2pm when i woke up. Actually wanted to laze at home today but Dar Dar asked me to go his showroom and find him. Received a phone call just before i left the house by a job agency asking me to go S.C for 2nd interview on 18th. Knowing that the pay wouldn't be fantastic but decided to go and try see how.

Was chatting on MSN with a friend at Dar's showroom. He told me that he is going to be divorced soon, but he has only been married for 4 months...

He told me that his wife is very not understanding, don't want to go and work and kept complaining that he is not spending enough time with her.

Marriage vows, don't they remember what it is? It's just 4 months, did they try their best to Savage the marriage? Shouldn't they already know each other character well before they are tying the knot? Haiz...

What is really important in maintaining a marriage? TRUST? LOVE? COMMUNICATION? UNDERSTANDING? COMMITMENT? I feel its a little of all. Lack of anything and that will marks an end to a relationship.

Happiness in marriage is not something that just happens.

A good marriage must be created.

In marriage the little things are the big things.

It is never being too old to hold hands.

It is remembering to say "I love you" at least once a day.

It is never going to sleep angry.

It is at no time taking the other for granted;

the courtship should not end with the honeymoon, it should continue through the years.

It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives.

It is standing together facing the world.

It is forming a circle of love that gathers the whole family.

It is doing things for each other, not in the attitude of duty or sacrifice,but in the spirit of joy.

It is speaking words of appreciationand demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways.

It is not looking for perfection in each other.

It is cultivating flexibility, patience,understanding and a sense of humour.

It is having the capacity to forgive and forget.

It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow old.

It is a common search for the good and the beautiful.

It is establishing a relationship in which the independence is equal,dependence is mutual and the obligation is reciprocal.

It is not only marrying the right partner, it is being the right partner.

Gems of my life :)


Got to check out of our chalet today. Aileen clean up the whole place, think the cleaner will be so grateful for that. haha. After checking out we went to the food court again for our lunch.


When we reach our house void deck, there is a china lady asking us if we have any Martell for sale at hm. I remember we had 1 at home so i told her my unit no and asked her to come up & have a slow. I started to regret as i have invited trouble back home....


She came up & came into my house asking us to sell almost everything in my house! As if i am in need of $$$. So i told her to come back another day, let us see what we don't need than call her to come and see if she wanna buybut she Si Lai Zhe Bu Zhou lo, until i have to push her out of the house. NB.


Poor Dar Dar still got to go and meet customer again... Told dad to help me buy dinner for the kids and i went to sleep, Haha. Luckily i got Aileen & Dad to help me to take care of everything.


Dar came back around evening time, Jayden asked him: Papa, you never buy toys for me ar?" Haha... So we spent the whole evening playing with Jernise & Jayden...

Guest started to arrived 1 after another around 5pm but we need to wait for Alicia to come before we can start the party as she's cooking most of the main dishes. So the guys decided to play MJ 1st until about 7pm before they went down to set up for the BBQ tonight.

Luckily Min, Ryhan & Binson arrived shortly after the BBQ started but they doesn't wanna eat so i bought them up to the chalet to enjoy air con & drink. Yeah. Hees. Min was so happy playing with little Jayden & feeding him cakes.

After the party ends we played MJ with Alan & GF, lost $100plus lor. But come to think of it, i seldom win MJ also la. Haha.

Well this marks an end to Jayden's 3yr old bday party.

Woke up early today and feeling so excited. Its the 1st time we are going to Wild Wild Wet & our whole family going for a swim together.

Bought them to Macdonal's for breakfast before heading to our destination. The weather is so damn hot today lo. Dad found a comfortable place to sit & help us take care of our belongings.

Jernise was scare at 1st kept holding on to me but less than 5mins she was walking around in the pool trying to drink the pool's water.

Jayden was so happy & kept urging us to bring him around to play the playground.

We were there for about 1 & 1/2 hrs before Jayden asked to go back. So i told Aileen to bring them back to the chalet while Dar Dar & i went to "Ta Bao" lunch for them.

After lunch the kids went for an afternoon nap so Dar Dar & i went back to Wild Wild Wet. Actually wanted to try the others but all was packed with people. The only place available was "The Tsunami", and so we just laze there for an hr than went back to chalet for the evening preparation....

I've become so tan so ugly....

13th June 2009 (1st Day Of Chalet)

Wake up feeling so lazy again. Haha. But got so many things to pack for our chalet so bo bian got to wake up. Sianz. Dar Dar so poor thing early in the morning still have to go and meet customer so i can't be lazy too. Wake up wake up!!!

I realize we have so many belongings. So many bags but only 1 contains Dar Dar & my things, the rest? Babies de lor.

Around 1pm Dar Dar came back so i told Aileen to bring Jayden for a haircut but when they come back i got a shock of my life, he looks totally like a "Gong Gong" lor. 1st thing that came to my mind:"CB, that saloon auntie sees its a maid so she anyhow cut my son's hair,CCB!" So i asked Dar Dar to bring him down again, this time round looks so much nicer. Next time don't let the saloon downstairs cut liao.

Finally everything settled & we head off to Aranda. (Yeah...)

The chalet looks abit of "Lok Kot" and the toilet bowls kept flushing but it's really very spacious. The living room can put 2 majong tables & the view was fantastic, the balcony faces Wild Wild Wet. While i was unpacking, Dar Dar took a nap. Actually wanted to let him sleep longer but

1. Jayden: Mummy can i have 1 bread?

2. Dad: So are we ordering food to eat?

3. Jernise: Aileen thought of giving her cereal but i say we are going to have dinner soon so Aileen keep the cereal. Jernise than kept looking at the cereal & cry.

So how can i let Dar Dar sleep? The whole family is asking for food. Haha...And so we headed to downtown east food court.

James, Alan & Darren initially wanted to come & play majong but last min cancel, wasted $15 for the rental of the majong table lor. Shit.

So boring nothing to do so i disturb Jayden, tickle him till he cry. Haha. Than Jernise turn. Dar Dar told Jayden: See mummy made her cry again" CB as if i like pervert like to make them cry. NB. In the end we decided to sleep early & prepare for our Wild Wild Wet tomorrow. Yeah...
